Penny Streeter OBE founded A24 Group in 1996, starting with a single recruitment business and building it into one of the UK's most respected names in specialist staffing. Over three decades, A24 Group has grown into an international operation spanning healthcare staffing, luxury hospitality, and property - with recruitment businesses operating across the UK, South Africa, Australia, and the United States.
Penny's approach to recruitment has always been the same: compliance first, people first, and no compromise on standards. Those values are embedded in First Call Education from day one.

Steve Houslop brings over 20 years of experience within the A24 Group, one of the UK's leading specialist recruitment businesses. Having spent his career developing and leading recruitment operations across the group, Steve has an in-depth understanding of what it takes to run a compliant, high-performing agency.
As Managing Director of First Call Education, Steve leads the business with the same standards of rigour and client focus that have defined A24 Group since Penny Streeter founded it in 1996.
