DBS & compliance

Straightforward and fully supported.

All teachers and education workers placed by First Call Education must hold a current enhanced DBS check with the barred list. If yours is current and on the DBS Update Service, we can check it instantly at no cost to you. If it needs renewing, we will guide you through the application; our team has done this hundreds of times.

We will also verify your identity, employment history, professional qualifications, and right to work. We keep your records securely and you only need to provide them once. If your circumstances change - a new address, a change in DBS status, etc. - just let your consultant know.

There is no fee to register with First Call Education. Any costs associated with pre-employment checks, including DBS applications, will be explained clearly by your consultant before any process begins.
