The Role
You'll open the school each morning and secure the building each evening, working a split shift of 07:30 to 09:30 and 14:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday. Day to day, you'll move deliveries, keep the toilets stocked with hand wash and toilet rolls, and maintain tidy, well kept grounds. The senior leadership team will also allocate additional premises tasks as they come up, so no two weeks look quite the same.
This school sits at the heart of its community, and the caretaker plays a genuine part in that, the person who makes sure the site is safe, stocked and ready before the first child arrives, and secure once the last one leaves.
